The biggest problems of Colombian education

In the field of Colombian society, important worries exist in the education and function for the social, economic, politic and cultural development

They have been attempting different efforts over aspects about educational system levels

·       *  The level of the preschool education plays a critical part on the development of creativity and formation of basic skills for the future citizens. On this level where the basics of educational process began it will keep developing along the life of the human beings. This is why it is necessary to streng then the network of investigation over this topic, with emphasis on spreading and applying educational innovations  inside and outside of Colombia

·        * The second and third level of the basic and secondary education Confronts a big challenge in regard to the necessity of increase of quality, and at the same time make more coverage to reach the central aim of quality of universal education

On recent studies and task work about the topic, they have identified the next aspects as the most critical point to make a better quality of secondary and basic education  in the country

(a)      Increase the teaching to secure cover and quality

(b)      To practise new models of management to increase scholarship autonomy

(c)      Train teachers on strategic areas in concern with topic as languages maths and solution of conflicts

(d)      Development of educational material that shows the new requirements of education focused on developing creativity and capacity to learn how to learn

    (e)       Improvement on science teaching

(f)       Education in values and peace
